About our data in Sweden
VERA PI is built on public sources, the estate agencies' own listings and our own calculations. Here is every source we use in Sweden: who publishes it, on what terms, how often it updates, when we last read it and what we do with it.
- We publish no personal data: statistics are summed per area, the agency is named but never the agent, and private homes are not named.
- Where we do not know a source's licence for certain, we say so – and then publish only derived values and link to the source.
- Raw data from Lantmäteriet and the City of Stockholm's 3D model is stored only on VERA PI's own servers and never passed on. The city's 3D model (LOD1) has no stated licence and is not open data.

- Four parts, each a ranking among all streets in the City of Stockholm: transport 35 per cent, parks and green space 25 per cent, area income 25 per cent and schools 15 per cent. The parts are weighted and the sum ranked again, so two streets can always be compared. It is not a price and not a valuation.

- The sun's path is computed for the building's sunniest facade (at least 8 metres long) at its middle floor on 21 March (the measure), 21 December and 21 September with the trees in leaf. Neighbours, terrain and trees cast the shade. Heights come from the city's 3D model and shapes from OpenStreetMap; only apartment buildings are named, never a villa or a single home.
